Aquisitions and stuff for the homestead.

This is a vent grate from an old house my dad owns...
It weighs about 927 lbs. but I'm going to suspend
it above an island in my kitchen and hang my pots from it...
Should I repaint it??

Got some bricks when I got my wood stove..They are the lightest thing in this picture..
My new wood stove. This one is from The Atlanta Stove Works which shut down in the 1980's. It's solid cast iron and weighs about 1146 lbs..

My new 445..18" of Mad Max awesomeness...and no, that's not a safety chain ;)

More updates to follow...Keep it Ozark!!

Another Snow Laden Week

Means not much is happening.

But, I was able to get to the courthouse and get and address for mail and such. I don't as of yet have a mailbox, so it's more of a gesture than anything else, but it has to count for something. Ill get a mailbox in the ground this week providing the weather lets up.

This should actually be a pretty productive week.

More updates to follow. Stay warm..and as usual...keep it Ozark..
